We envision an ensemble-focused company rooted in a collaborative community where everyone involved feels valued. The 602 Stage’s long-term vision includes expanding beyond Phoenix and into the West Valley in the coming years.

Looking Ahead
Over the next 5 years, we aim to:

  • Produce 3-4 productions annually

  • Secure a permanent rehearsal and performance space

  • Incorporate bilingual shows into our season

  • Launch a youth theatre program

Timeline

Fall 2025

The development of a new community theatre was announced! The 602 Stage was registered with the AZCC as a non-profit corporation and was granted 501(c(3)) status by the IRS. "The 602 Revue" took place in order to raise funds to cover start-up costs and licensing for the first full show of The 602 Stage 2026 Season. Staff members were chosen through a short interview process.

January-April 2026

Staff will meet to discuss details of an upcoming production and begin to prepare materials. Our first show, audition dates, and ticket sales will be announced.

We will begin searching for local artists to lead workshops, community gatherings, and improv nights.

May-August 2026

Auditions, rehearsals, and shows--oh my! This will be the busiest season of the year for The 602 Stage. We will also begin seeking out members to join our board.

September-December 2026

Our annual Revue will take place and include exclusive announcements, a taste of the next season, and special performances!

2027

We will work with board members to assess the previous year and, based on those results, begin looking for a permanent home in the West Valley. At this time organization will start for the following year and include:

  • 2 Fully staged productions

  • Actor workshops / classes

  • 1-night-only play reading

  • Instagram
  • TikTok

The 602 Stage officially owns and operates the domain the602stage.org.
